Now Moby and Ola are from Nigeria and met here in South Africa. Both electrical engineers they make a fantastic couple. Their story touched our hearts and we’re sure it will touch yours too….
After a proper courtship Moby and Ola decided to “tie the knot” and invited their fathers and siblings to come to South Africa to witness their wedding. For various reasons this was not to be and the only witnesses they had to their civil wedding were a few close friends. Sometime after the wedding they arranged with a venue to source a photographer who would do their wedding photos. Once again, for various reasons this never happened yet they continued to hold out hope that they find someone to take their photos. Which is how they found us.
We took them out for an afternoon and took some fantastic photos, some of which are featured here. They were fantastic models and put up with all our requests even though they were exhausted after it all.
It was all worth it though when we presented them with their storybook album of the photos of the day. Their tears made us completely weak at the knees and brought tears to our eyes too. It was absolutely fulfilling to see their gratification and love for each other when looking at their album.
It’s times like these that make our job so very worthwhile.
