On 1 October 2008 Paul Hunter and I launched AfricanDiver.com, a free online diving magazine focussed on all types of diving in Africa. Paul and I have been involved in promoting underwater photography in South Africa, on and off, for the past 7 or so years. We both belong to GUPS (Gauteng Underwater Photographers Society) and I was a founder member. We have both participated in, and partaken in the organisation of, the annual Sodwana Shootout underwater photography competition. This competition celebrated its tenth anniversary this year. African Diver magazine can be downloaded from the African Diver website (www.africandiver.com). We welcome contributions, enquiries and feedback. Our hope for AfricanDiver.com is that it is relevant, thought provoking and positive. We celebrate everything that African diving has to offer and we want you to, as well. Please visit our website, email us at info@africandiver.com and subscribe to be notified when issues are available for download. Spread the word, dive the seas and may your bubbles always be free.
